The Conservative team are currently working hard to highlight your concerns about crime, the council tax, educational standards and the local environment in Blackheath Westcombe both councillors have strong links with your part of the borough.
Geoff Brighty, a qualified lecturer, has lived in the ward for most of his life, and was first elected to Greenwich Council in 1982. Over the years he has acquired a reputation amongst voters for his accessibility and the importance he gives to a councillor's casework - all those important individual problems which can so easily go unheard.
Alex Wilson, who also was brought up in the ward and attended the local schools Halstow and John Roan knows the importance of getting a good education to give you a good start in life, however, sadly he feels that children are being let down by the schools in Greenwich.
Since being Elected in May 2006, both Geoff and Alex have been working hard with residents associations and individual residents to help to improve their quality of life and make sure that their views are head and problems resolved.
